The mandate of department is to manage and monitor all financial activities for efficient and effective running of the hospital. To ensure all financials transactions and activities towards achieving the goals of the hospital are done within the necessary financial laws and rules. Plan and organize annual budget for proper administration of financial and non-financial operations of the hospital, Provide accurate and information for management strategic decision making, Keep records and account of all financial transactions, and Support management in economic, effective and efficient uses of all resources.
some core activivties of the units are;
- Budget Co-ordination
- Collection and mobilisation of Revenue
- Management of Payment/Disbursement of funds
- Recording of Financial activities per the requirement of the laws
- Timely and Adequate financial Reporting.
- Efficient Analysis of financial Reports for informed management decisions.
- Coordination and the establishment on internal control for efficient revenue mobilization and monitoring.
